Tammie Hilend is the principal coach and consultant of Pivot Positive.  She is a collaborative leader with a passion for helping colleagues maximize their potential, developing teams, business transformation and innovation.  Tammie leverages her expertise as an established leader in the tech industry to accelerate her approach in facilitating the discovery and cultivation of values on an individual, team or corporate level.

In late 2020, I began to reflect on how I might apply my experience and value of people to create my next career.  With over 30 years in leadership roles, professional coaching naturally resonated with me, sparking my coaching education and certification journey.  

By establishing a clear grasp of my values and purpose, I developed a keen ability to help individuals and businesses reflect on their values and purpose so they may begin their transformation journey.”

Tammie has a proven track record of executing complex programs and evolving technology capabilities through times of change in a wide range of industries including telecommunications, healthcare, home services, space technology and Earth intelligence. She is passionate about diversity and helping individuals grow in the tech industry.  

Prior to founding Pivot Positive, she served in several business and technology leadership roles including:

• CIO and Vice President of Information Technology and Facilities, Maxar Technologies, integrating and transforming systems of four disparate companies to help become a leading space technology and intelligence company through strategic alignment and and intentional prioritization.

• Vice President of Technology Services for ADT Security modernizing core infrastructure, customer service and corporate systems while ensuring a smooth transformation during a divestiture from Tyco International.

• Director of Supplier and Availability Management for Kaiser Permanente’s creation and scaling of real-time healthcare driving innovative architectures and reliable systems.
